Q. I purchased Sneaky Clean to erase data on my old computer so I could give it to a needy family, but not knowing how it worked I downloaded it onto my new computer.  How do transfer it from my new computer and put it on my old computer?  I saved it in ‘My Documents’.

 

A. If you saved it on your computer, methods of transferring the file to another computer are burning to a blank CD. Then loading that CD up on your old computer.  If you do not have a CD burner or burning software you can email the file as an attachment to yourself using an email client that allows files that large. Using Hotmail or Yahoo will do the trick or Outlook depending on ISP.

If transferring files please be sure to realize that Sneaky Clean can only be registered on computers that you the license purchaser own. To Register Sneaky Clean using your registration details on another computer not owned by you violates your license and distribution agreement.

 

Q.  I receive a ‘License ID’ but not a ‘Registration Code’ after purchase. Rather than a ‘Registration Code’ I receive a ‘Serial’. What do I do?

 

A. The ‘Serial’ is actually the ‘Registration Code’. If you enter this number into the field that asks for ‘Registration Code’ it will work. Reason for different naming is due to labeling in our database that stores and distributes Serial numbers at the time of purchase.

 

 

Q. When I input the serial number I was emailed after I purchased the software into the registration window I get an error that says ‘Incorrect Registration Code’. Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible I was sent the wrong details? 

A. Please be sure that you insert the License ID which is the shorter of the two number sequences into the LicenseID box in the main software window. Also use the ‘Serial’ number in the ‘Registration Code’ field.

If this still does not work, in rare cases it could be possible that you received a corrupted set of Registration details from the database. Please reply to the email with serial information you were sent with a brief description of the problem you are experiencing. We will endeavor to send you a working set of registration details as soon as possible.

 

 

Q. I've input the license ID and serial numbers but each time I start the program the registration code and license ID fields are blank, as though it expects me to register again. Is this normal? Am I indeed registered?

 

A. Yes you are registered, it only requires registration once. Registration would have occurred successfully if you were given a confirmation message at the time you input the Registration codes.

 

The fields will still stay there after this, allowing you to input what you like in there but pay no notice to this.


 

Q. How do I get a refund if I’m not satisfied with the product or it doesn’t work properly on my
     computer.


A. If you are experiencing a minor problem with the software please be sure to read this FAQ to ensure you can find an answer and allow you to enjoy the features and benefits of Sneaky Clean. If the answer to the problem is not in this FAQ please email our support team at support@sneakyclean.com and we will do our best to answer your questions or resolve any issues you may be experiencing on your machine.

If you remain dissatisfied with your purchase follow the instructions on the receipt you were emailed to seek a refund. Refund requests can be made within 60 days of purchasing the software.
